About
Maths first, marketing never.
The editorial principle, the team, the working process, and the affiliate model behind BetCalc365 — in plain English, with no corporate filler.
The site is built around a single observation: every UK punter who learns to read a bookmaker's price will outperform every UK punter who doesn't, in expectation, across enough bets. The calculators surface the maths; the editorial is the case that the maths matters. Everything else is downstream of that.
Who we are
BetCalc365 is the editorial brand of Croft & Hugh Digital LTD — a UK limited company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17207269), registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. The site is run by a small UK-based editorial team. Every byline reading "BetCalc365 Editorial Team" or "BetCalc365 Analysis Team" is literal: the same group that built the calculators wrote the cornerstone reference, replies to corrections, and decides which match previews are worth writing. One operation, one set of standards.
What we publish
Seven free calculators covering every UK bet type — the accumulator and system bet calculator, the odds converter, the golf dead heat calculator, plus lay, free bet, and arbitrage modes inside the main calculator. A growing editorial library at /blog — the cornerstone reference on bookmaker margin, dedicated explainers on stake-not-returned free bets, dead heat rules, each-way mathematics, and a 2026 World Cup long-form. Eight foundational guides at /guide as the introduction layer for newer readers. Match previews go up when a fixture genuinely deserves one — they are not a content-mill output target.
How we work
Every calculator is tested against worked examples from real UK betting markets before it ships. The maths is checked against a second source — Pinnacle's published prices, the relevant bookmaker's own settlement page, or the published Tattersalls Rule 4 scale — before any number lands on the site.
The cornerstone reference and the longer guides carry a [VERIFY:] inline flag system: any cited figure that hasn't been independently audited is marked at the time of writing, so a reader (or a future editor) can see exactly which numbers came from a primary record and which are working approximations. Most affiliate sites don't do this. We do because the alternative is publishing made-up statistics in a regulated vertical, which is both a credibility problem and a legal one.
Editorial review cadence: cornerstones quarterly, top-traffic articles monthly, the full content library annually. The "Last reviewed" date at the bottom of each long-form piece is the real date of the most recent pass, not a CMS auto-stamp.
Corrections matter. If a worked example is wrong, a rule has changed, or a bookmaker has revised its terms in a way that affects what we've written, we fix the page within 48 hours of being told and add a correction note at the bottom. The address to use is below.
How we make money
BetCalc365 earns through affiliate commissions when readers click through to a partner bookmaker's site and open an account. That is the only revenue model. There is no advertising network, no paid placements, no sponsored content, no display advertising.
Partner selection criteria are documented at how we pick bookmaker partners. In short: UK Gambling Commission-licensed operators only, with a track record of fair settlement and visible T&Cs. Commission rate has zero bearing on a partner's prominence on the site — partner ranking is editorial. Every page that contains a partner link carries an "Ad" pill on the affiliate block and a full disclosure at /affiliate-disclosure. The calculators themselves do not change behaviour based on which bookmaker a reader has accounts with, ever.
If you want the foundations of betting maths — the maths bookmakers won't explain because they have no incentive to — the place to start is the cornerstone reference on bookmaker margin and value.
